Kinetic, non-explosive, with a human on the loop. Intended for sites where conventional counter-UAS is hard or risky to use.
Detection, tracking and engagement run as one closed loop on the device. In automatic mode the loop does not wait for a human decision, and a person stays on the loop with a veto. An operator can also take direct control, designate targets and approve each engagement, then return the system to automatic mode. How the system may be used depends on the law, the user’s authority and the conditions of each deployment.
The effector fires a single kinetic burst with a small radius of effect. Placing the system close to what it protects is the intended use, subject to a safety assessment of each site.
From day one we have designed it for sites where conventional counter-UAS is hard or risky to use. Jamming in a dense city and explosive effectors in a hazardous area are two examples. This is not an adaptation. Refineries, gas terminals, power plants, airports and hospitals need protection that does not create a new hazard for the site it protects.
Where the air burns and the day is short, we keep silent watch.
Demonstrator stage. The target product and its field validation are still ahead.
Four applications have been filed, two for patents and two for utility models. A working technology demonstrator confirms the detect, track and engage loop. Since September 2026 we have been working on the software and design of the MVP, in the parts that need no licence. The final effector comes last. The target product will add the full-power effector and an enclosure built to ATEX requirements. Conformity of the complete device will then be assessed under the applicable procedures. The team combines mechatronic engineering, embedded systems and quantitative modelling.
Drone defence will be decided by time, law and doctrine as much as by hardware. We publish our reasoning so that it can be checked.
Maciej M. Kasperek · Founder and System Architect
Built his own drones and flew them long before starting the project. A certified drone pilot and programmer, he designs the embedded electronics himself. Trained as a dental surgeon (DMD), he has since written on time-critical response systems as an independent researcher in emergency medicine and operations research. Silesian Advanced Systems is bootstrapped.

Jan Ibrahim · Electronics Specialist and Hardware Integrator
Hands-on electronics practitioner with a long-standing passion for circuits and emerging hardware. Responsible for precision soldering and physical hardware integration. In later stages, responsible for testing the demonstrator, first on the bench and then in the field. Combines meticulous build standards with Python scripting for automated diagnostics and test workflows.
Adam Busławski, PhD · Project Manager
Holds a doctorate in engineering and technical sciences and lectures at WSB Merito University in Opole. For more than twenty years he held management and director positions in industry. He implemented ERP systems and lean methods and was responsible for quality and data protection. In the team he manages the project schedule and relations with partners and institutions, and leads negotiations.
Silesian Advanced Systems is currently a team. We are looking for a founding investor to incorporate the company with us, complete the MVP and move on to testing and certification. It should be someone who understands deep tech in the security sector and the road from demonstrator to production under the licence the sector requires. We are ready to incorporate before an investor joins if talks drag on. Materials are available on request.
